Delete your account

Applies to Guilds accounts on web, iOS, and Android

You can delete your Obelus account yourself, from inside the app, on any platform. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

From the app

1. Sign in and open Settings.
2. Choose Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.

Without the app

If you can no longer sign in, or have uninstalled the app, email support@obelus.fi with the subject “Account deletion request” and your handle. We will verify the request and delete the account.

What is deleted

• Your profile: handle, display name, avatar, and bio.
• All of your sessions and passkeys, which are revoked immediately.

What is retained

• Immutable economic ledger records (gold and item movements) are retained to keep every guild's ledger consistent, but they no longer identify you.
• Content required for other members' context may remain but is disassociated from your deleted profile.

Virtual currency

Gold has no cash value and any remaining balance is forfeited on deletion; it is non-refundable except where required by law or the applicable app store's rules.
